Sharyn L. (Cheshure) Wurst, 74, of Harrisburg, went to her heavenly home after a courageous battle with breast cancer on October 13, 2020. Sharyn was born in Chaleroi, Pennsylvania on May 19, 1946. As a daughter of a military family, she moved around a lot and graduated from Camp Hill High School in 1964. From there she continued with the military tradition and met her husband, Captain Frank L. Wurst, in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where they were married on December 1, 1973. She was always proud to be a Navy wife and made many sacrifices serving our country alongside her husband.

She lived a life of service with various jobs in retail, at a nursing home, daycare center, and school district. But her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her children. She enjoyed hobbies such as reading, shopping, cross stitch, pets, but most of all, quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Captain Joseph Cheshure and Louise (Binley) Cheshure. She is survived by her husband, Captain Frank L. Wurst; her children, Kevin Cheshure and his wife, Jacqueline of Abington, PA, Bethany Sidella and her husband, Kevin of Harrisburg, Frank Wurst and his wife, Amy of Overland Park, KS, Nathan Wurst and his wife, Barbara of Falls Church, VA, Matthew Wurst of Harrisburg; her sister Linda (Cheshure) Antastasi and her husband Richard; many adoring grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Cecelia, Katherine, Ella, Samuel, Brooke, Lacey Sharyn as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
